Lead Mechanical Engineer

Manager, Civil Structural Engineering

  • Responsible for the management of the Civil Structural Engineering department. 
  • Hire, train, and mentor engineers and supporting staff. 
  • Estimate engineering hours and manage civil scope for projects. 
  • Ensure civil designs meet the requirements of both the client and Equinox. 
  • Provide designs on a variety of project sizes ranging from well pads to large plants. 
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables. 
  • Alignment with client expectations. 
  • Coordinate with other disciplines. 
  • Ability to create client specific technical scope documents, perform technical evaluations and complete contract documents. 
  • Develop of civil department standards, procedures, and specifications.

  • Keep abreast with latest technologies and materials including commitment to continuous improvement activities.

  • 5-12 years EPCM experience in Oil and Gas Projects  
  • Gas Plant Design experience is an asset
  • Perform successful completion of assigned mechanical engineering tasks and engineering deliverables
