Job Description

  • Conducting site visits to observe construction progress and provide field support as needed
  • Maintaining project files and documentation by company procedures

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecoms/I&C/Computer Engineering
  • Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer/Licensee with APEGA
  • At least 6 years of engineering design experience in building systems, HVAC, and Building Automation System Design, Fire Alarm and Suppression System Design & Integration, Telecommunication systems for buildings
  • Experience in EPC is an asset
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Strong attention to details
  • Effective technical abilities and aptitude
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe

Job Description

  • Providing field service support and technical expertise for LV/MV/HV electrical equipment
  • Electrical troubleshooting control circuits, equipment testing, maintenance, and commissioning
  • Operating test equipment such as; radio meters, CT analyzers, winding resistance meters, meggers, Omicron relay test sets, and VLF units
  • Performing work with protection and control (P&C) systems, including motor protection, differential protection, distance protection, line protection, and feeder protection
  • Assisting with preparation, electrical design planning, and management

Job Description

  • General oversight of production and department operations and provide leadership to employees
  • Supervising team members and department personnel, costs and budgets, delivery, and scheduling
  • Assisting with the monitoring of boiler, wastewater, air compression, and air pollution performance ensuring systems work well and meet regulatory compliance
  • Coordinating efficient transportation of raw products and finished goods
  • Developing an operating plan that initiates action to operate within production plans
  • Ensuring deadlines and goals are met
  • Preparing and maintaining daily reports and recommendations
  • Solving problems involving workflow, systems, and facilities to ensure an efficient production process

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in a 24/7 plant operation environment is required
  • Valid 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate and 2nd Class Certificate an asset
  • Education in chemistry, sciences, or agriculture is an asset.
  • Adaptable to changing environments and factors in the production process
  • Ability to handle heights, ladders, stairs, and frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs
